A wonderful way to start summer is to leave Stockholm an early morning when there is a bewildered blizzard roaring outside the cab window on the ride to Arlanda airport. We went to Makrigialos on the island of Crete in Greece.

One of the days there we rented bicycles (suprised?) and went out for a spin around the surrounding area, it was a really lovely day.

Being the awesome fiancée she is she suggested I bike of some steam and head out on a more difficult ride later that same day. I decided to ride up from Makrigialos to
Pefki a small mountain village, it was on a hiking trail that easily made those hard roads from Albania seem like Autobahn. This was a hiking trail with steep, steel stairs and mostly impossible to ride by bicycle, it was amazing fun tho to get the bike through there anyhow.

Nice view eh? |

It was a really good week and it brought back many fond memories and created even more ones together with the love of my life, Marie.
